Terms and Conditions for Nature In Your Home

The not so small print.

Payment Terms:

To initiate a Handyman project, a deposit covering 50% of the total labour day rate cost must be paid upon placement of your order. The remaining balance is due on the day the project is completed.

To initiate a bespoke project, a deposit covering the full cost of materials and 50% of the labour costs must be paid upon placement of your order. The remaining balance is due on the day the project is completed.

Quotation Validity:

Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date issued. If the project has not commenced within this period, Nature In Your Home reserves the right to revise the quote. Clients will be notified of any changes via email or the contact method provided in the order.

Project Scope:

Any changes or additions to the project scope must be agreed upon in writing and may be subject to additional charges. Please confirm any changes at least 48 hours before the scheduled start date. Changes initiated during a project or on-site must be agreed in writing by return email before changes are implemented.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations must be made in writing at least 7 days prior to the scheduled start date to avoid any charges. Cancellations made after this period may incur charges up to the full cost of any materials purchased and a portion of the labor cost as outlined in our fee structure. Following cancellation if no work has commenced and the materials have been paid for, these materials will be delivered to the project site after a delivery fee has been paid. A fair delivery fee will be calculated based on the quantity of materials, weight, distance and required handling.

Materials:

All materials supplied for the project remain the property of Nature In Your Home until full project payment is received. If the project is delayed by the client, materials will be stored free of charge for up to 30 days. After this period, a fair storage fee will apply.

Workmanship Guarantee:

We guarantee our labour and workmanship for three years from the project's completion date. This guarantee does not cover damages resulting from misuse, external forces, or normal wear and tear. Claims under the guarantee should be submitted via our customer service email, with documentation of the issue provided. Please use the email address grant@natureinyourhome.org

Completion Time:

Estimated project completion times are provided as a guide and are subject to change due to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to weather conditions and supply chain delays. We commit to keeping clients informed of any changes to project timelines.

Client Responsibilities:

The client is responsible for securing any necessary permissions or consents from local authorities before the commencement of work. Failure to obtain such permissions may result in project delays or legal costs, for which Nature In Your Home will not be liable.

On-site Electricity & Water:

The client must provide suitable access to electricity and water for the project. Please ensure these services are available from the project start date.

Comfort Breaks:

Our team may require periodic comfort breaks. Clients are requested to ensure that a functioning toilet is accessible during the project.

Loss Prevention:

We advise not to leave the project site unattended. Nature In Your Home will not be responsible for any losses or insurance costs resulting from incidents at the project site.

Dispute Resolution:

Any disputes arising from this agreement should initially be addressed through negotiation between the involved parties. If a resolution cannot be reached, the parties agree to proceed to mediation and, if necessary, arbitration to settle the dispute. Clients should contact customer service to initiate this process.

Limitation of Liability:

Nature In Your Home shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from project delays, non-completion, or improper completion, including but not limited to lost profits or business interruption.

Use of Video Footage:

Nature In Your Home reserves the right to record video footage of the project site during the execution of any project for the purpose of documenting the progress and quality of work. This footage may be published on public platforms, including but not limited to YouTube, under the channel associated with Nature In Your Home.

These videos serve as a general showcase of our workmanship and may be used for advertising purposes. As the channel may potentially generate revenue through monetisation (e.g., advertising revenue, sponsorships), it is expressly understood and agreed that any financial benefits derived from videos featuring a client's project are the sole property of Nature In Your Home. Clients shall have no claim to any such revenue.

Furthermore, by agreeing to these terms, clients grant Nature In Your Home the non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use any footage that includes scenes from their property, including exteriors and interiors where projects are undertaken. Clients who prefer not to have their projects filmed must notify us in writing prior to the commencement of work.

Privacy of Client Information:

Nature In Your Home respects the privacy and confidentiality of our clients. All personal and project-related information provided by clients is handled with the utmost care and is not shared with third parties without explicit consent, except as required by law. This commitment extends to all documentation and communication related to your project.

Acceptance of Terms:

By placing an order with Nature In Your Home and proceeding with the requisite payment, the client acknowledges and agrees to have fully reviewed and accepted these terms and conditions. It is the client's responsibility to ensure understanding and agreement to all stipulated terms prior to commencing any project with Nature In Your Home.
